Garden Clearance · London

Garden clearance in London — licensed, insured, traceable.

Overgrown back gardens after a tenant leaves, sheds that finally need to come down, decking that's rotted through, stumps left behind by a previous owner. We hold a registered Waste Carrier Licence, we issue you a transfer note, and the tip fees are included in the price — no surprise add-on at the end.

Why a licence matters

Most £40-a-van Facebook clearance ads aren't licensed. If your garden waste turns up fly-tipped on a verge in Enfield, the fine traces back to you.

  • Upper Tier Waste Carrier Licence

Issued by the Environment Agency. We're on the public register — verifiable before you book, name on the side of the van.

  • Transfer note for every job

You get a Duty of Care waste transfer note by email after the job — proof you handed it to someone licensed. Keep it for 2 years.

  • Tip fees included

The price you see covers labour, fuel, AND the per-tonne tip charge at a registered transfer station. No "extra disposal fee" sprung at the end.

  • Conservation-area aware

If a tree has a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) or sits in a conservation area, we'll flag it before we start — felling without LPA consent is a £20,000 fine.

Garden clearance FAQ

Are you a licensed waste carrier?

Yes — Upper Tier Waste Carrier Licence from the Environment Agency, transfer notes issued for every job. Important: under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, if waste handed to an unlicensed carrier is later fly-tipped, the householder is liable for the fine, not the van.

Can you take garden waste only?

Yes. Pure green waste (cuttings, soil, turf, prunings) goes to a green-waste transfer station with lower tip fees — we pass the saving on. Tell us at booking what's in the load so we can route it correctly.

How much for a 1-bed flat back garden?

A typical small London back garden — shrubs, a collapsed shed, some pots, a broken chair — usually fits a quarter to half-load: £120–£180 including labour, tip and transfer note. Stumps, slabs and hot tubs are quoted as add-ons from a photo.

One van. One trip. Tip fees included.

Send a photo of the garden. We'll quote a fixed price.
