Under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, the householder is responsible for ensuring waste is given to a licensed carrier. Unlicensed van fly-tips it? You get the fine.
Every Hausio job ends with an emailed waste transfer note showing what was collected, our CBDU number, and the registered transfer station. Keep it 2 years.
If you're a landlord or running a business, you're legally required to have transfer notes on file. We format ours for landlord/agency record-keeping by default.
Quoted price includes the per-tonne tip charge at the transfer station. We don't sting you with a "disposal fee" at the end of the job once the van's loaded.

Yes — Upper Tier Waste Carrier with the Environment Agency. We issue a Duty of Care waste transfer note (with our CBDU number) by email for every job. Under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 the householder is liable for fly-tipping by unlicensed carriers — keep that transfer note.
A typical 2-bed clearance fits a full Luton: £280, two loaders, drive, tip fees, transfer note included. A full strip-out with loft and kitchen would be around £500 (two Luton loads). We quote from a photo so there are no surprises on the day.
Yes — £55 per mattress as a single item, or free if it's part of a half or full Luton load. Mattresses go to a hard-to-recycle waste stream that most London councils stopped collecting kerbside — that's our problem, not yours.
